Overview

This is definitely a lodge for the social adventurer! A custom built heli-skiing village, run by Last Frontier Heliskiing with private log chalet rooms complete with wood burning stoves; you can see why Bell 2 has become a real favorite among BC heli-skiers. Certainly one the more social lodges we offer, you are sure to have made great friends by the end of your stay; the lodge hosts an amazing outdoor hot tub pavilion, fire pit, bar area and games room as well as fitness centre and sauna. Famous for its huge snowfalls (15-25m per year), runs up to 2000m long and over 1000 named runs we are sure any heli-skier will love their time at Bell 2.

Location

Located in the Skeena Mountains in the North of British Columbia, it doesn’t get much more remote. Fly to Terrace or Smithers BC from Vancouver and then a 4 hour transfer through stunning alpine vistas will lead you to Last Frontier Heli-skiing – Bell 2 Lodge. Last Frontier operate in 10,100 square km of terrain – the largest single heli-ski area in the world.

Terrain

Bell 2 offers a huge array or terrain choices, with something for everyone from advanced intermediate to pro skiers and riders. The lodge is surrounded by skiable terrain, so this is a great option if you’re looking to maximize your runs, with some lines just 5 minutes flight from your cabin! A mix of open, alpine terrain (bowls and glaciers) mixed with some of BC’s best tree-skiing, for those slightly less optimal weather days.
