Japan is home to some of the best powder skiing on the planet, with an incredible average of 10 to 18 metres of light, fluffy snow per season and fresh dumps nearly every day. But that’s not the only reason you’ll fall in love with it. In the land of the rising sun you’ll discover culture and hospitality like nowhere else.

March Corporate Ski Trip — Niseko

The perfect mix of team building, skiing and downtime to relax in the spa. It was completely different to anything I’ve experienced in Europe, and was blown away by our Japanese chef’s table experience – it was so unique! The flexibility of the team to handle last-minute changes was very impressive – we look forward to booking with Mabey Ski again.

March Ski & City Honeymoon — Niseko, Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto

The best honeymoon we could have dreamt of! The highlight of our trip was ski touring a volcano, Mount Yōtei – a once-in-a-lifetime experience! We loved Mabey Ski’s approach, it was much more personable and flexible than bigger agents we have used, as they really focus on the small details as much as the big ones.

March Couples Ski & City Trip — Niseko, Kyoto, Tokyo

We had a rough idea of where we wanted to go but without Nickie’s help we would never have fitted all the places we wanted to visit and ski. From trains to planes and different hotels we really want to thank you for making our first visit to Japan such a memorable experience. Your knowledge of this country really made a huge difference.

January Honeymoon Ski Trip — Niseko

Thank you so much for arranging such a wonderful honeymoon – it really was a once-in-a-lifetime trip! Mabey Ski made every aspect of organising easy and enjoyable. The accommodation, local recommendations and pre-organised activities made it all run smoothly. I would highly recommend Mabey Ski to anyone looking for a unique and magical experience.

February Family Ski Trip — Niseko

Mabey Ski arranged an incredible trip for our family holiday. The attention-to-detail was second to none and the excursions to onsens and authentic restaurants were excellent. The extra tips on what to take, what to wear and key Japanese phrases were very helpful too. The whole experience was enchanting and fulfilled our desire for adventure – thank you Mabey Ski

Reaching the top of the mountain in Japan is like stepping through the doors to Narnia; greeted by fresh mountain air and beautiful snow-covered trees, there’s true magic to this place. Whether you're carving your way down beautifully pisted runs, winding through snow-covered trees in or making fresh tracks off piste in the backcountry - Japan is a real 'piece de resistance' for advanced snow enthusiasts - it's hard not to be utterly enchanted by this winter wonderland.

From iconic dishes like sushi, ramen and yakitori to your home comfort classics like pizza, steak and chips, Japan has it all. Mix it up between locally owned and traditional Izakayas, then book in for a mind blowing fine dining experience. Then of course there are the bowls of hot ramen to warm you up at lunch before heading back to the slopes for some more fun. And for those who aren't quite done, the wonderland continues into the night with some of the world's best night skiing under moonlit skies. Just make sure you wrap up warm!
