Located on the South West coast of British Columbia, Canada, Vancouver serves as the perfect travel hub for skiers looking to explore the deep powder havens on offer around the province.
With a vibrant history, bustling downtown area, snow capped mountains and stunning ocean views, it’s not hard to see why Vancouver is such a popular travel destination. For skiers, although there are 3 smaller ski resorts in Vancouver itself, the city serves as a hub from which skiers can drive up to our home town of Whistler, fly further afield to the interior, or up North to heli-ski in remote Bella Coola or Smithers. With its own major international airport (YVR Vancouver International) as well as smaller domestic terminals, and excellent road links, Vancouver is perfectly situated as the start and end point of many skiers’ adventure.
Looking To Ski British Columbia?
Vancouver serves as a perfect stop in between ski locations – whether you’re looking to do some night skiing on Grouse Mountain or Cypress, or relax and enjoy the serene ocean and mountain setting. We often recommend an overnight stay at either end of trips to Whistler and Bella Coola, both of which are reached in under 2 hours from Vancouver Airport.
We offer private driver and helicopter charter services between Vancouver and Whistler, as well as around the Greater Vancouver area and can even organize for you to heli-ski your way from Vancouver to Whistler if you’re looking to take travelling in style to the next level.
